The Archdiocese of Palo announces with deep sorrow the passing of Reverend Father FELIPE MORANO-DILOY, JR., a beloved member of our clergy. Father Diloy dedicated his life to serving the Archdiocese of Palo through his various parish assignments.
Fr. Diloy is from San Joaquin, Palo, Leyte. Born to Felipe P. Diloy, Sr. and Felicidad S. Morano on November 16, 1936. He studied his tertiary and college education at the Sacred Heart Seminary and his theology studies at San Carlos Major Seminary in Cebu City. He was ordained a priest on March 30, 1963.

1979 – Parish Priest, St. Pascual Baylon Parish, Guinarona, Dagami, Leyte
1984 – Parochial Vicar, Assumption of Our Lady Parish, Tanauan, Leyte
1986 – Parish Priest, St. Joseph Parish, San Jose, Dulag, Leyte
1988 – Parochial Vicar, Our Lord’s Transfiguration Parish, Palo, Leyte
1991 – Parish Priest, St. Joachim Parish, San Jaoquin, Palo, Leyte
1991 – Resident Priest, Our Lord’s Transfiguration Parish, Palo, Leyte
His mortal remains lie in state at the Diloy Family Residence in San Joaquin, Palo, Leyte.
His Funeral will be done on October 1, 2025 in St. Joachim Parish Church, San Joaquin, Palo, Leyte at 10am, followed by the internment in the Priests’ Ossuary, Sacred Heart Seminary Compound.
