Erected: April 23, 1967 by then Bishop Teotimo Pacis, DD as a response to the people’s clamor for more spiritual attention. Separating from the mother parish, the Sto. Niño Church, the new parish covered Brgy. 65 (Paseo de Legaspi area) to the last city-barangay of Tagpuro, bordering the town of Babatngon. Tow other parishes, namely, The Blessed Sacrament Parish and the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish were born from the St. Jude Parish due to increase of population and for better spiritual attention. Today, the parish only covers Barangay 65 (Paseo de Legaspi Area) up to a portion of Barangay 74 (Nulatula). 2017 marked the Golden (50th) Anniversary of the parish.
