For the SIMULTANEOUS PENITENTIAL WALK on Oct 29 Friday, pls take note of the following:
- The activity is supposed to be simultaneous as agreed upon during meeting of the Vicars Forane together with the Archbishop. As much as possible the procession should begin by 7:30am.Pls download to your smart phone the Morning Praise of the Friday (from iBreviary) and the Order of Celebration and the Litany of Saints. Download the Litany of the Saints in the link below.
- During the procession clerics are required to wear an alb (or soutane) and violet stole. It is better to use a reversible stole because a white stole will be used for the mass
- The Mass Formulary to be used is the votive Mass on the Mercy of God. And so, the homily should focus on God’s mercy.
- The host parish may prepare brunch for the clerics who took part in the activity.
