SINCE ITS BEGINNINGS in 2004; the Parish of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Dapdap – Alangalang (then Mission Station), has undergone many Pastoral and Structural improvements. With the assumption to office of the new Parish Priest this 2021; he, together with the Parish Pastoral and Finance Council, proposed to the Parish Community its first big project. In the presence of the Archbishop of Palo during the Parish’s first novena mass for its 2021 Fiesta Celebration, the “URUSA HIN KARSADA NGADTO KAN MARIA Project” also known as UK PROJECT was formally launched.
The UK Project aims to create a road system within the Vicinity of the Parish Main Church Property. The wet and dry seasons of the Philippines both present disadvantages to its unpaved pathway. A paved road network will indeed improve the ease of mobility by Churchgoers. The UK Project will also include an outdoor Stations of the Cross, a parking space, and a drainage system.
The Parish Community of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Dapdap, Alangalang, Leyte, Philippines, is knocking at your generous hearts to support us in this endeavor. We envision a Sacred Space which will be more conducive to prayer and a place that can bring many people to Jesus thru the Blessed Virgin Mary – our Patroness.
