Circular: Love to Love, I shall Return! CARITAS-Typhoon Odette (Two Sundays to Go)
Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Palo Presbyterium and the People of God:
Greetings!
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Palo, thru CARITAS PALO, is committed to send the amount
of 10 million to 10 Dioceses whose people sustained massive destruction to their homes and
properties after Typhoon Odette. We chose to help this way as a gesture of our solidarity with
them, in the same way that the world helped us 8 years ago after Typhoon Yolanda.
We need your good-willing and sacrificial offering. Please send your donations thru your parish.
Help us achieve this goal: 10 million from the Archdiocese of Palo to victims of Odette.
As of January 18, 2022 update, we have the following details:
- Parish Special Collections – 3,363,315.80
- Presbyterium Padugo – 1,190,000.00
- RCAP Disaster Fund – 1,500,000.00
With a running total of 6,053, 315.80 which is already 76% of the Original 8million goal; and
60.53% of the new goal of 10 million as agreed upon in the last Vicars Forane’s meeting in January
6, 2022. Please be reminded that the deadline is on February 2, 2022.
I am very happy with the commitment that you have vowed to fulfill. This is not really a mandate
from me but I heartily commend how the whole Archdiocese has responded to such a call.
We are all in this together, and thinking otherwise won’t give us the results we might be aiming
for. More than ever, working together is integral to our success. We keep the team spirit to take
the high road.
Oremus pro invicem! I remain,
Very Truly Yours,
(SGD) MOST REV. JOHN F. DU, D.D.
Archbishop of Palo
(SGD)Rev. Fr. Bryand P. Restituto
