Ad Limina visits or the Visita Adlimina Apostolurum is the obligation of Catholic Bishops and prelates with territorial jurisdiction to visit the see of Peter. They are to meet the Pope and report on the state of their regions and discuss with the Holy Father issues concerning their respective dioceses. They also get to visit the different departments of service (called dicasteries) of the Vatican Curia.
While still in Italy; the Archbishop will be visiting Bergamo where Fr. Virgilio Murillo (a priest of the Archdiocese of Palo) is serving Filipinos. The Archbishop will also have a pilgrimage to Ars, France before heading back to Rome and the Philippines. The Archbishop also celebrated his 4oth Sacerdotal Anniversary in Rome on the 1st of June.
