1. To mark the Culmination of the celebration of the 500 Years of Christianity here in the Philippines, the CBCP thru the Episcopal Commission on Mission headed by Bishop Socrates Mesiona, MSP, D.D., is inviting all of us the Clergy, Religious and Faithful to the Second National Mission Congress on April 17-24, 2022.  It will just be an ONLINE event and can be viewed on the Facebook page of the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Mission (CBCPMission); and Youtube channel of the CBCP Mission.  The Opening Mass will be on April 17, Easter Sunday @5:00 pm.  All the Sessions will be at 6:00-8:00pm beginning April 18-23, 2022.  The Culmination Mass and the Mission Sending, however, is on April 24, Sunday @ 10,30am.

  1. Update on the Synod on Synodality: Timeline until Submission: 
    1. By end of April- Vicariate assembly to collate data and discuss the data (so that in archdiocesan it will not be a heavy work).
    2. The work of collating and crafting of the narrative report (with attachments) could start even before the set dates:
      1. April 23 -Parish Level
      2. April 30 – Vicariate (face to face) (Format: Narrative Report) 
      3. May 7 – Archdiocesan level in preparation for Regional synthesis level then national 
      4. May 14 (virtual) – presentation of report of Vicariate coordinators w/ Vicars forane
      5. May 21 (face-to-face) – Archdiocesan Assembly of all Vicariate Coordinators (venue and program schedule to be determined; overnight) ; presentation and approval of the Archdiocesan report w/ Vicars forane
