The St. Roch Parish, Brgy. Patoc, Dagami, Leyte was canonically erected today, October 29, 2019. In the celebration was the installation of its first parish priest, Fr. Noel T. Lao. The Most Rev. John F. Du, Archbishop of Palo, presided the Liturgy with 35 priests and hundreds of parishioners from the 16 barangays composing the parish: Patok, Calipayan, Rizal, Plaridel, Candagara, Lubi-Lubi, Sto. Domingo, Caanislagan, Hilabago, Camonoan, Maragongdong, Sawahon, Abre, Katipunan, Tagkip, and Panda.
St. Roch Parish in Patoc, Dagami, Leyte was categorized a Mission Station for 23 years until its elevation as a Parish.
