The Presbyterium of the Archdiocese of Palo had their annual Day of Sanctification today held at the Seminary Compound, Palo, Leyte. The theme for this year’s gathering was centered on the Priest’s imitation of the priesthood of Christ. The day also brought all the priests to a deeper appreciation of the Holy priesthood with its modern day challenges.

A Holy Hour at the Sacred Heart Seminary Chapel opened the on-going formation activity. A series of talks, to guide the Presbyterium to a deeper reflection, were given by Msgr. Ramon Masculino of the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Clergy. The Day of Sanctification was concluded with the Celebration of the Holy Eucharistic by His Excellency – Most Rev. John F. Du, DD , the Archbishop of Palo at the St. John the Evangelist School of Theology.

LET US CONTINUE PRAYING FOR OUR PRIESTS!
“When people want to destroy religion they begin by attacking the priest; for when there is no priest, there is no sacrifice: and when there is no sacrifice, there is no religion.”
— St. John Vianney (1786-1859)
