The Clergy of the Archdiocese of Palo mourns the death of one of its brothers, REV. FR. HECTOR JESUS R. VILLAMIL. We humbly ask for prayers that God may welcome the soul of Fr. Hector into the place of salvation which he rightly hoped for.
Fr. Hector hails from Kanangga, Leyte. He was ordained on November 15, 1986. The recent reshuffling of Priest’s Assignments by the Archbishop assigned him to the Holy Family Parish in Kanangga, Leyte where he was residing. Formerly he was assigned in:

1989 Parochial Vicar (Sto. Niño Parish – Tacloban City)
1990 Pre-College Formator (Sacred Heart Seminary – Palo, Leyte)
1991 Dean of College Students (Sacred Heart Seminary – Palo, Leyte)

Aside from being a go-to person on questions on Canon Law where he earned a doctorate; Fr. Hector is also known for his simplicity and thriftiness. It was learned that he would do his laundry personally to wisely spend his resources for his priestly apostolate.
Fr. Hector, may you see the Redeemer face to face and enjoy the vision of God forever.
