November 25 is RED WEDNESDAY this year. Aside from praying for persecuted Christians, we include this year our brothers and sisters who have suffered “persecution” because of the lockdowns and restrictions due to the pandemic. The Archbishop of PALO enjoins all parishes to celebrate this taking into account the following:
- Simultaneous Red Wednesday mass at 6 pm on 25 November in all Parishes
- Ceremonial Lighting of the facade of Churches in red
- Cross-posting of the ACN Recollection Concert at 7:30 pm on November 25 on diocesan and Parish Facebook pages
Also, please take up a special collection for our needy brothers and sisters to be submitted to the Chancery. Please announce this to your parishioners in your masses today until next Tuesday so that many will be able to take part in the celebration.
